Steel Challenge Shooting Association (SCSA) – NOT Currently running matches! In search of match director.
Steel Challenge (SCSA) is great for new shooters as well as experienced competitors. Matches are incredibly simple but extremely competitive.
Matches consist of 4-5 stages with 5 targets on each stage. The shooter is required to hit each target once. One target, designated as a stop plate, must be shot last. Each stage is shot 5 times.
Steel Challenge measures the shooter’s speed and accuracy. Local, State, Regional and World Speed Shooting Championships continue to grow, becoming one of the largest professional pistol competitions in America.

Recommended Equipment:
- Centerfire Pistols / Carbines 45 caliber or less (9mm, 38, 40, 45)
- Rimfire Pistols / Rifles (22lr) (No holster required)
- 150 – 200 rounds per gun
- 3-5 magazines
- Holster for centerfire pistol competitors
- Hearing and eye protection
